Delaware Rep. Tim Dukes, R-Seaford, stopped by Delmarva Christian High School on Richard Trice’s last day on the job to present him with a House of Representatives Tribute.
Trice is retiring after spending 44 years in Christian education, two at Georgetown Baptist, 26 years at Epworth Christian and 16 years at Delmarva Christian.
“Mr. Trice is the epitome of consistency, dry humor, wisdom, and godliness as a teacher,” said Dukes.
Trice takes his job seriously and values the students so much that when Dukes arrived at the building to surprise him, Trice had him wait in the front office for 10 minutes while his students finished an exam.
