MIFFLINTOWN – Juniata County Treasurer Sandra King has announced she is retiring.
King released a statement announcing the news:
“After serving four terms as Juniata County Treasurer, I have made the decision to retire,” King said. “It has been both a privilege and a blessing to serve the residents of Juniata County. I truly appreciate all of the support I have had over the years and will miss not only the people I work with but also those individuals throughout the community I have gotten to know.”
Voters in Juniata County will elect a new treasurer this election year. The primary election is May 18. The general election is Nov. 2.
