Syracuse, N.Y. — The number 33 is connected to Felisha Legette-Jack in ways she never imagined when she selected her jersey as a freshman at Syracuse University in 1984.
Unknowing of the basketball legacy she’d ultimately create at both Nottingham High School and Syracuse, Legette-Jack initially chose the number in the eighth grade because it was the only large size available.
