What products or services does your company provide? Retirement Plan Solutions provides third-party plan administration services for qualified retirement plans. Our objective is to meet the diverse needs of each plan sponsor and to assist our clients in ensuring their retirement plans stay in compliance with all tax and labor law requirements.
Who are your customers? Our clients are businesses, both large and small, that wish to outsource the administration of their retirement plans.
What is your business day like? As vice president of a small business, no day looks the same for me. However, the one constant is assisting my client base with their plan administration needs, which includes performing all compliance testing, calculating required and discretionary contributions, processing employee distribution requests and preparing annual required information tax returns.
What is the best business advice you have received? A quote by Albert

What is the most important thing you’ve learned on the job? With the complex field of retirement plan law, there’s always something new to learn or a different way to approach a problem, so the most important thing I’ve taken from this career is that you always have to take advantage of the boundless opportunities to educate yourself and hone your craft.
What does the future hold? The SECURE Act was enacted in 2020 and included the largest retirement reform in the last 15 years. This legislation has opened an abundance of opportunities for retirement plans and has potential to change the landscape as we know it. I’m excited to adapt to a new outlook and to continue building on our foundation of staying on the leading edge of retirement planning.
