Amundi’s global head of retirement solutions retires

Christian Lemaire retired as global head of retirement solutions at Amundi, a spokeswoman confirmed.

Mr. Lemaire spent 20 years in the Credit Agricole group — the parent company of Amundi.

He was not directly replaced but his responsibilities were divided between two executives. Patrick Tissot-Favre, head of international business development-retirement solutions, took on Mr. Lemaire’s responsibilities for retirement offering and engineering, the spokeswoman said. Thierry Darmon, public affairs officer, took on Mr. Lemaire’s responsibilities for retirement regulation under Europe’s Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision framework.

Mr. Lemaire remains a board member for Amundi’s pension fund in Luxembourg and is also a member of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority’s occupational pensions stakeholder group, he said in a message.
